Beautiful and moving, this piece was written by a newly Canadian composer for a friend who had been diagnosed with cancer. A song of hope started as a work for soloist with brass band and has been re scored for wind ensemble. Though technically not difficult, it requires significant emotional maturity from the players to bring forth it's full emotive content.  A Song of Hope is written for wind band in F.

Cette belle pièce émouvante a été écrite par un assez nouveau compositeur canadien pour un ami qui avait été diagnostiqué avec le cancer. A Song of Hope a été premièrement écrite pour soliste avec fanfare et a été réarrangée pour orchestre à vents. Quoique pas trop difficile au point de vue technique, cette pièce requiert une maturité émotive assez significative des musiciens et musiciennes afin de pouvoir transmettre son message. Cette pièce est écrite en F (Fa).
